Introduction
Welcome to "Energize the Future," an energy hackathon designed to empower young minds (ages 12-19) to innovate and build a sustainable future. This event provides a unique platform to tackle real-world renewable energy and sustainability challenges, offering participants the opportunity to develop and present groundbreaking solutions in solar power, wind energy, smart grids, and green technology. Throughout the hackathon, teams will receive invaluable mentorship from industry experts, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
Tools and Technologies
Participants will have access to a range of resource tools to aid in their project development:
1. Online Simulation Tools:
- Tinkercad (recommended for Waste-to-Energy projects)
- Python
- MATLAB
- CAD software
- Smart Draw (recommended for Smart Energy Grid projects)
- OpenSolar (recommended for Solar Powered Solutions)
In-person Resources: For those attending physically, 3D printers, circuit kits, and solar panel prototypes will be available.
